How to properly refine your gear?

This is not a rule, it's just the way I used to refine my gears. You can find your own way.

Here are some tips on how to refine your equipments.
General tips:

Time Gap Weapons has a Refine Box.
Dimensions Weapons has a Refine Box.
Dimensions Crowns has NOT a Refine Box.
Nebula Armors has NOT a Refine box.
Type @go 50 to refine and grade. Top left you find NPC Leona to refine. Top mid you find NPC Garm to grade.
Use Speed Refine from NPC Leona to refine Armor lv2 or Weapon lv5. It cost 10k+ for each refine but it is really faster than going one by one.
ALWAYS use safe option to grade (requests 5 stones).

Armor

Before starting to refine your armor, check if it has a Refine Box or a Hammer. You can check some here.

Armor level 1

Armor Level 1
Base Armor level	Steps	Description
0	Use a Safe Refine Ticket. You can check how to obtain one here.	You can go from 0 to +12, it depends on which Safe Refine Ticket you will use.
+10	Use HD Carnium (6225) . You can buy it from Cash Shop or other players.	From +10 to +11 it won't break, but it has a chance to become Damaged. Check here how to fix it.
+11	You can use HD Carnium (6225) and Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) .	From +11 to +12 it won't break using BSB, but it's not worth it.

Note: If the Armor is from an Illusion Dungeon, use the Refine Box. Click here for more info.

Armor level 2

Base Armor level	Steps	Description
0 ~ 9	Use Etherium (1000331) . You can craft it here.	You can go from 0 to +10, it won't break on fail. It sometimes goes with 9 tries. Sometimes, with +1k. Test your luck~
+10 ~ +14	Use HD Etherium (1000335) . You can craft it here. And Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) .	Just spam until you get the level you want! From +14 to +15, your attempts will be announced globaly ingame. Players can help you praying. 🙏

Armor Level 2 - Special Mention

Base Armor level	Steps	Description
+9 ~ +11	Refine with Etherium (1000331) until +9. Then use a refine box or hammer. Check here.	Armors like Moan of Corruption and Vesper Headgear has a Hammer. You can refine it until +9 then use the hammer until +12.

Weapon

Before starting to refine your weapon, check if it has a Refine Box or a Hammer. You can check some here.

Weapon level 4

Base Weapon level	Steps	Description
0	Use a Safe Refine Ticket. You can check how to obtain one here.	You can go from 0 to +12, it depends on which Safe Refine Ticket you will use.
+10	Use HD Bradium (6226) . You can buy it from Cash Shop or other players.	From +10 to +11 it won't break, but it has a chance to become Damaged. Check here how to fix it.
+11	You can use HD Bradium (6226) and Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) .	From +11 to +12 it won't break using BSB, but it's not worth it.

+9 ~ +11	Refine with Etherdeocon (1000332) until +9. Then use a refine box or hammer. Check here.	Weapons like Dimensions and Time Gap has a Refine Box/Hammer. You can refine it until +9 then use the box/hammer until +12.

Shadow Gears

Base Shadow Gear	Steps	Description
0	Use Hollgrehenn's Shadow Refine Hammer (23436) until +5/+6 and HD Oridecon (6240) or HD Elunium (6241) .	The hammer will randomly refine from 1 to 10. If you need it to be +7, you can use the hammer until +5/+6 and then go with HD Elunium for Shadow Armor or HD Oridecon for Shadow Weapon.
0	Use Shadow 9 Refine Hammer (23926) .	Easy way to go to +9. No suffering.
9	Use HD Oridecon (6240) or HD Elunium (6241) to +10. It won't break on fail.	The cycle is: use Shadow 9 Refine Hammer (23926) . Then use the HD. If it fail and goes to +8, use the HD again. If it fails and goes to +7, use the hammer to +9 again. Start it over.

Refine and Grade

Let's use some examples of how a refine goes:

How to refine an armor like Moan of Corruption [1] (470204) :

Grade	Refine	Description
No grade	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherium (1000331) . You can grade to D now.	Bring a lot of Etherium. It can take a lot to succeed. It won't break on fail. Also choose Speed Refine option from NPC Leona.
Grade D	Go from 0 to +10 using Etherium (1000331) . You can grade to C now.	Same as before.
Grade C	Go from 0 to +10 using Etherium (1000331) . Now you need 1 HD Etherium (1000335) and 4 Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for each attempt to +11. You can also use MVP Equip Refine Hammer (50052) consuming 14 Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for a safe +11. You can grade to B now.	You can choose any option to reach +11. Just keep in mind that if you go with HD Etherium, after four failed attempts the hammer option would have been cheaper.
Grade B	Same as Grade C process. You can grade to A now.	Same as Grade C process.
Grade A	Same as Grade C. When it's +11, you need 7 Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for each attempt to +12.	Here I say: use the MVP Equip Refine Hammer (50052) to get to +12. It's cheaper than relying on RNG luck.

How to refine any Dimensions Crown, like: Time Dimensions Rune Crown (Cardinal) [1] (400537) :

No grade	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherium (1000331) . You can grade to D now.	Bring a lot of Etherium. It can take a lot to succeed. It won't break on fail. Also choose Speed Refine option from NPC Leona.
Grade D	Go from 0 to +10 using Etherium (1000331) . You can grade to C now.	Same as before.
Grade C	Go from 0 to +10 using Etherium (1000331) . Now you need 1 HD Etherium (1000335) and 4 Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for each attempt to +11. You can grade to B now.	Same as before. No hammer, no refine box. Trust the process.
Grade B	Same as Grade C process. You can grade to A now.	Same as Grade C process. No hammer, no refine box. Trust the process.
Grade A	Same as Grade C. When it's +11, you need 7 Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for each attempt to +12.	No hammer, no refine box. Trust the process.

How to refine a Dimensions Imperial Sword [2] (500092) (or any dimensions weapon):

No grade	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherdeocon (1000332) . You can grade to D now.	Bring a lot of Etherdeocon. It can take a lot to succeed. It won't break on fail. Also choose Speed Refine option from NPC Leona.
Grade D	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherdeocon (1000332) . Use Dimensions Weapon Refinement Device (102668) to go to +10. You can grade to C now.	Same as before. You can also choose to go to +10 with Etherdeocon, but not recommended.
Grade C	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherdeocon (1000332) . Use Dimensions Weapon Refinement Device (102668) two times to go to +11. You can grade to B now.	Same as before. You don't need Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) here. 🙏
Grade B	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherdeocon (1000332) . Use Dimensions Weapon Refinement Device (102668) two times to go to +11. You can grade to A now.	Same as before. You don't need Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) here. 🙏
Grade A	Go from 0 to +9 using Etherdeocon (1000332) . Use Dimensions Weapon Refinement Device (102668) three times to go to +12.	Same as before. You don't need Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) here. Go safely to +12.🙏

Crafting Safe Refine Tickets

Here's a way to farm weapons and armors to craft safe refine tickets:

Farm any Illusion Dungeons of your choice and loot the Illusion item box and Illusion refine box (for example Illusion Underwater Box (41089) and Underwater Refinement Box (100425) )
Open the item boxes to get an item of the safe refine ticket you're looking for: Weapon or Armor.
Refine it until +4 with Oridecon (984) / Elunium (985) , then use the refine box for a random refine from +7 to +10.
Now, if the item turns into a +10 or +9 (or even +8 for armors), keep it and turn it into a Safe Refine Ticket at paramarket.
If not, you can try to gamble the refine with Oridecon (984) / Elunium (985) with a chance of breaking it. Or you can try to reroll the refine with another Refine Box.
Fuse the tickets at paramarket to get the desired Safe Refine Ticket level you want.

Note: This technique is worth until safe to +10 tickets, as +11 tickets need to fuse five +10, it's usually better to use the HD bradium/HD carnium option.
