RebirthRO was founded by Syphon in 2004. The official continuation is now RevivalRO. The original domain rebirthro.com still belongs to Syphon and redirects to rebirthro.blog - the founder's official page.

RebirthRO was one of the most popular pre-renewal Ragnarok Online private servers in the world. Syphon built and funded the entire project from scratch - paying for all hosting, development, and infrastructure since day one.

The server attracted a massive community across Southeast Asia (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia), Europe, and the Americas.

A developer named Remy (Ancyker) had access to parts of the RebirthRO infrastructure. When the working relationship broke down:

• Remy seized control of developer-level assets and the original Discord server
• He began claiming ownership of the RebirthRO brand
• He registered look-alike domains to intercept returning players via search engines

Syphon retained ownership of the original rebirthro.com domain and the financial accounts that kept RebirthRO running for two decades.

Rather than fight over the name, Syphon rebuilt everything under the RevivalRO banner at ragnarevival.com:

• Same pre-renewal gameplay players loved on RebirthRO
• Same GM team, same community, same updates
• Modern infrastructure in Asia for the majority-SEA playerbase
• Dedicated Americas proxy servers for US and Canadian players
