How to Submit a Bug Report

To help us resolve bugs quickly and efficiently, please follow the steps below when submitting a bug report in the Bug Reports Channel on Discord.

1. Describe the Bug Clearly

Provide a detailed description of the bug. Include:

  • What exactly is happening?
  • Where or when does the bug occur?
  • Does it affect gameplay, visuals, or performance?

2. Character and Server Information

  • Include your character name and account name (if possible).
  • What map were you on when the bug happened?
  • What class, level, and job were you using?

3. Steps to Reproduce the Bug

List out the exact steps to recreate the bug:

  1. Step 1 (e.g., log in to character).
  2. Step 2 (e.g., enter Prontera map).
  3. Step 3 (e.g., use skill X on target Y).

4. Attach Screenshots or Video

Visual evidence helps us identify issues faster:

  • Take a screenshot or record a video showing the bug in action.
  • Show any error messages or pop-up dialogs that appear.
  • If possible, upload these directly to the bug report post in Discord.

5. Item IDs and NPC Information

If the bug involves items or NPCs, please provide:

  • Item IDs or names of any affected items (you can use `/iteminfo` in-game to get the ID).
  • Names of any NPCs involved, and their location (coordinates are helpful, e.g., Prontera (156, 198)).

6. Include Copy of Error Messages

If an error occurs (e.g., Lua errors or script crashes), copy and paste the entire error message in the report:

  • Open the error window.
  • Press Ctrl + C to copy the message.
  • Paste it in the Discord channel as part of your report.

7. Device/Client Information

  • Mention whether you're using PC, Android, or other devices.
  • Is your client fully updated to the latest patch?

8. Additional Information

More info = faster fixes! If you can, include:

  • Screenshots of your equipment or skill window if relevant.
  • Details of any other players or NPCs that were affected.
