After receiving your freebies, begin leveling on:

1. Maps: prt_fild08 or pay_fild04

Once you reach Base Level 10 and complete your First Job Change:

1. Sell your looted items.
2. Purchase Starter Items from Arina (at @hub, top area).
3. These items help you progress up to around Base Level 200.

When you reach Level 100:

1. Speak to Arathor at Prontera (145, 176) or @hub (if relocated).
2. He grants:
   1. 10× Almighty ⭐
   2. 5× Thick Battle Manuals ⭐
   3. +10 Beginner Weapon ⚔️
   4. 500k Zeny 💰

You are now free to explore additional areas and level up! 🎉

You can get these items:

After you've got some zeny you can go to @hub and find Arina, she will sell you a nice starting gear that you can use through your first 150 levels.

You can get as early as lvl 10 if you got the zeny, it consists of a set of armor and a weapon for your class, it can be either magic or physical.

Something interesting about this set is that it can be upgraded once you reach lvl 100, and it can give you an amazing boost to your damage output and survivability, Advanced Paradise Set needs to be crafting by farming Elastic Band (7200) which is dropped by the Wootan Shooters at Umbala Field 3, and Blue Hair (1034) dropped by Kobolds at Rachel Field 5.

This one is also part of Arina's Shop, you can start wearing it as early as level 100, it boosts some of your 3rd job skills, and can be refined using the refinement box from the same shop, and enchanted through Arina by purchasing the Mysterious Medal.

Gives you a pair of Middle and Low headgear that can help with boosting your damage early on.

Similar to the Race Cap you can get a set of Advanced Paradise Shadow Armor, this is generic and applies to every class, but the benefits come from the Shadow Weapon you can get for your class, it is a nice combo that will help you a lot early on.

This is a very nice set of gear that you can start using as soon as you hit lvl 150, this combination of gear will stay with you for quite some time, and is the first step into actual grinding.

He will have two different sets of gear that you would need to review to find which one suits your needs better, and the great thing about this set is that you can refine it to +9 by using the Grace Refine Tickets he sell you. Cor Core (25723).

You’ve worked your way up leveling, and now you may be scratching your head wondering what to do next. Here are some tips on what to focus on now.

Zeny is your best friend from now on. It will help you:

• Skip progression stages (buy items in market or via #trade).
• Grade and refine your gear.

Main sources of Zeny:

• Stone of Sage (ID: 12040) → Farm at Thanatos Tower 7 or Odin Past.
• As you approach endgame:
  • Farm Unknown Blue Hole for Treasure Chests.
  • Sell popular items other players buy in bulk.

At this stage you are still using your Lvl 100 Weapon from the Paradise NPC. Time to consider upgrades:

• Buy: Dimensions Weapon for your job (available in @vend or #trade).

→ Outclasses most other weapons even without enchants.

• Farm: Good or Evil Weapons from NPCs at @hub (top left side of the map).
  • Good/Evil Weapon mats farmed at Thanatos Tower 11–12.
  • Choose based on your build → read descriptions to match with your skills.

No direct upgrade for armor yet (most locked behind episode progression). However, you can farm:

• Good/Evil Crown
• Good/Evil Boots

→ Nice placeholders until stronger options unlock.

This will be your long-term grind. Get familiar with the materials:

Core Materials

• Etel Dust → Used to craft:
  • Etherdeocon & Etherium (refine items for high-end gear).
  • Etel Stones (combined with gemstones → Etel versions for grading).
• Enriched Ores & HD Ores → Needed along with Etel for refining.

Farming Spots

• Amicitia Lab 2 → Drops Etel Dust + Enriched Ores.
• Mjolnir Underground Tunnel → Good for farming HD Ores.

⚠️ At this stage farming may be tough depending on your gear/job. Don’t worry too much—you can always buy the materials from @vend or #trade.

Riggs is an NPC located on the far left of @hub. He looks like a cowboy, and here you will find some gear that you will stick with for a long time. Let’s break it down.

These are the materials Riggs asks for to craft your gear.

• They are cheap at @vend and #trade because they are very common at later stages.
• However, since Zeny is short at this point:
• Start autolooting them when you farm in Odin Past.
• You can also farm directly at Rudus Dungeon 4.

These items can be used by any job, regardless of physical or magical.

• Ghost Fire → Must buy for every class (except Comet builds).
• New Wave Sunglasses [1] → Must buy for every class (except Comet builds).
• Overdrive Rampage → Must buy for every class at this stage.
• Mad Bunny - LT
• Poring Sunglasses → Increased Drop Rate gear.
• Happy Balloon → Increased Drop Rate gear.
• Angel Poring Boots → Increased Drop Rate gear.
• Amistr Backpack → Increased Drop Rate gear.
• Dropping Rebel → Increased Drop Rate gear.

Items that are very strong for most magic builds:

• Vesper Headgear
• Moan of Corruption
• Convertible Magical Wings
• Kardui Ears (for Comet Arch Mage)
• Lapine Shield (for Comet Arch Mage)

Items that are very strong for many physical builds:

• Convertible Physical Wings
• Convertible Critical Wings
• Kiel Hyre's Darkness → Requires Kiel Card + Sealed Kiel Card combo.
• Boitata Hat → Best for melee & crit builds.
• Beelzebub Crown → Best for ranged builds.
• Rideword Hat
