===== Section 1, Meet the team. =====

Dusk was approaching when the pecopeco rushing, whistling shrilly to announce its arrival. A knight in the rusty amor wheezed into the station hidden sedately among the green-clad mountains along the prontera border. The knight on the shiny helm with weird fish finhelm who had jolted and jostled us across the whole of GemstoneRO jumped from his dominating pecopeco to join the cohort in chattering and gesticulating wildly.

It was not too dark to read the faded black and white sign hanging above the station platform — Fadhgridh. I gathered my equipment and stepped from the warp portal line. Already hundreds of people in uniforms, loaded with the variety of equipment and weapons that characterizes the PvP players, were disentangling themselves from the warp portal lines.

Essentially there are 18 classes with each distinct roles. What do we have here ?

Each class add a colorful and provide a distinct yet similar role in the war of emperium.


===== Sections 2, Into the line =====

Lieutenant Nile, my weapons-platoon leader, whose love for Scotch whiskey and insistence that his name was pronounced with a R and not a N were standing jokes in the storage room. He said his party was in the back room of the house across the trail. He was setting up one defensive in the rear of the second portal. He asked for several men from my party to help him carry gemstone and potions to the castle.

What gear we are looking for here ?

Generally, there are 3 equipment build


  * Pure defensive
  * Hybrid
  * Pure offensive


==== Pure defensive ====

Pure defensive have multiple subset that server each of there unique need. Depend on your enemy composition. Ranging from Long range, Mdef, High HP Pool and Elemental resist.

But all have the same. High demihuman (Player) or Medium resistance.

This set give you a flexible on Robe and Shoes. With a card slot on both armor and accessory free.

You can further enhance with Cranial Shadow Shield for another 3%.

In total this set yield 60 ~ 63% Demihuman (Player) reduction. If you can use Dagger. 50 ~ 53% without dagger.

*You have a lot of flexible in all of your gears. Noted that you can further enhance you head gear and middle gear with slotted feather beret and slotted Thanatos's Odium Mask.

You can even further mix and match with Medium set I show below for a more reduction. Be creative !

Another popular addition to this gear set is,

  * Anti-Magic manteau

==== Hybrid ====

Hybrid is even more versitile and flexible than pure defensive. But you will be a lot more fragile. What do we get to offset our tankiness ? The flexible in build. You could get more Fixed Cast time and After cast delay if your build deemed to. You could have damage that able to kill yet tanky enough to push forward to the second line (More about this later)

Let's explain this using Medium build. This set give you a lot more room to gearing. For this set I want a little bit more reduction from armor and accessory. So we got 58% Medium reduction and 5% Demihuman (Player) reduction. Total in 60.1% reduction.

You have a lot more room of flexible with this set. Be noted that you can't use Marc card or Stability Shadow. So beware of Frozen status alignment.


==== Pure offensive ====

What gear we have here is your imagination. Just ditch out the most dmg possible.

In general the gear that is popular is,


  * Illusion of moonlight gear
  * Temporal armor and Temporal boots
  * Thanatos pre-reform gear (Thanatos dolor, Red force pendant)
  * High grade weapon
  * Geffen matic tournament gear
  * Royal Hunting card and accessory with perfect enchant (10% atk / matk on medium)


===== Section 3, 7-11 in the war =====

I awoke shortly after an afternoon nap and ate the almighty ration, reheating a canteen cup of coffee from ranked alchemist which the supply sergeant had brought up the night before. Throwing golden syrup and +20 stats food away from my bagpack. Since those can't be used...

===== Section 4, Mokoko woe report =====

War report ! New war report !

As you walking through the street and see the news outlet with WoE report section you scriming through it and read some of it...

War has arrived ! The new dawn is open with fail diplomacy, intrigue and the back stab.

//**Mokoko WoE Report (1 Oct 2023)**//

One depart but the show must go on.

We manage have some great and fun GvG from Mokoko and Potato ! Although Mokoko escape last minute to secure that home. We starting to see counter to see last week popular and dominant as we expect.

//**Thief Branch**//

Mostly change from the players themself. Now people avoid getting into close range with them and zone them out instead. Aside from that not much change. (Let's turn one eye blind from that landmind stalker)

//**Knight Branch**//

We instaly see the counter to the pressure paladin as we expect with in a span of a week ! This render the build into niche build. But we will see them coming back again for sure once we have more population and make it hard to specific counter to one build.

//**Archer class**//

While dominant in DPS they have their arch enemy. High wizard and sorcerer. (And some instance pneuma). Without Paladin they are easily wipe but with a well placement they are very very strong DPS !

//**Wizard class**//

After dominate WoE for 2 months. People slowly make gear to counter them and learn how to play against them. While strong in their area we slowly see them lost grip on the dominant class to sniper in a balance manor. I heard some gossip about people testing weird build with some skill. Hopefully that don't create new abormination that force people to carry new manteau to counter it......

//**Mokoko WoE Report (24 Sept 2023)**//

Overall state, Still need a lot more improvement, but we will see. We starting to see GvG action, defense, and push. Also, time stalling tactic. This mean the overall GvG improve a bit. But we have yet to see complex play technique from the current state of the woe. But the overall experience of small crash is better.

We also getting to see some logistic demand and the diplomacy at play with smaller group of players.

Let’s go through some of the popular class change that happen in this week!

//**Thief Branch**//

We starting to see multiple variation now which is great. Some further build my showing up soon ?

//**Knight Branch**//

We rarely saw any need of this class aside from devotion bot before. But now with GvG happen more frequent they are getting more spotlight. We starting to see some healthy ratio off balance from the assassin class and high wizard.

//**Archer class**//

A bright and shiny day for sniper but sad state with unlock potential for singer class.

//**Stalker**//

We mostly saw 3 builds. Reflect, Strip and Magic (Probably still testing).

-         Strip, is effective at this state in some small clash and other situation. We will see if enable chase walk to enable it effectiveness or not.

-         Reflect and magic, I’m on the fence with both. But I do see some possibilities built with it.

//**Assassin**//

Now the hot potato of the WoE. Most people agree before Soul breaker nerf that this class is oppressive and infuriate to play against. Now how is it?

Mostly 4 built was played but let’s differentiate them with the play style. (GC, Emp break, Magic)

-         Ground control, it still functions as one of the strongest ground control classes given, they can reach the target. In a WOE with zone like or Breakthrough situation they don’t shine as they used to. Which is great. I think they are in the good spot.

-         Emp breaker, now some might ask why SinX but let’s ignore that for now but mostly due to gear choices available and the base HP modifications and class skills.

-         Magic build. I hate this build, but it works and quite strong. It works by elemental weapon. It’s great and have a good damage. But people are slowly gearing to counter it as it is getting more popular.

//**Knight**//

The berserk skill is still disabled which complete remove the auto attack build. We starting to see multiple lord knight or swarm tactic. (Multiple knight rush into player stack or gang up on high target character. I’m watching at you Lim)

Pure Clashing spiral build is very popular, quite easy to counter but very effective can be build into both full GC and off-tank. Other build also popping up. (Bowling bash / break through build).

Overall, the class is very strong with high hp pool and offensive ability. The rusted silver of woe (2<sup>nd</sup>~3<sup>rd</sup> place in most of their role).

//**Paladin**//

Aside from devotion that work as expected. While devotion skill still has weird unintended bug glass cannon still need it so why not.

Other than the devotion build we are seeing popular pressure build with some matyr mix. It’s very strong but getting more counter as it is getting more popular as well. I would say they are in great state.

//**Sniper**//

Focus arrow, the new GC is born with even worse defensive ability. Probably arguable highest dps right now. But lowest defensive ability among the peers. One hit from anything could kill them.

Trapper, most squishy class hate them, but they are essential part of the play. Force players to play more cautions. We still see that more than half of the population don’t understand their class kit to deal with the trap yet.

//**Bard / Dancer**//

We do not see any complex play from singer class at all. We will see will the draft and future update improve this. Still getting treat as buff bot. But we do see some play with Vulcan, tarot build from guild with more population.
