  • Mason is searching for a card remover NPC. After a bit of conversation, he gives you the Torn Spell Book as a reward for helping him.

• Location: Aldebaran (153, 212)
• Dialogue:
  • Mojo laments losing his teacher's old magic book. If you talk to him while on the quest, he acknowledges your help but doesn't give you anything directly.

• Location: Amatsu (267, 189)
• Dialogue:
  • Marie agrees to give you the Torn Scroll if you bring her a Poring Egg and a Pet Incubator.
  • Required Items:

  • Reward: Torn Scroll (Item ID: 7118)

• Once you have the Old Magic Book, Torn Scroll, and Torn Spell Book, return to Wise Man Fabius in Yuno.
• Hand over the items, and Fabius will teach you the Umbalian language.

  • 1x Torn Scroll (Item ID: 7118)
  • 1x Torn Spell Book (Item ID: 7117)

• After completing the quest, you will gain the ability to understand the language of the Umbalian people.

• The quest can only be completed once per character.
• You must gather all three artifacts before returning to Wise Man Fabius.
