How to Create a Guild in Ragnarok Online

Creating a guild in Ragnarok Online is a great way to bring players together, participate in War of Emperium (WoE), and enjoy social gameplay. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create a guild and important information on managing it.

Requirements for Creating a Guild

To create a guild, you need:

  1. An Emperium, which is a rare item. It can be obtained by killing certain monsters, found through various quests, or bought from other players.
  2. You must be a Base Level 50 or higher to form a guild.

How to Create a Guild

1. Obtain an Emperium. 2. Use the Emperium by double-clicking it in your inventory. 3. A window will pop up prompting you to enter a Guild Name. Choose your guild's name carefully because once created, you can only change the name by disbanding the guild and making a new one. 4. After entering your desired guild name, click OK. Your guild is now created, and you are the Guild Master!

Guild Commands

Once your guild is created, you have access to several important commands:

  1. `@guildinvite [playername]`: Invite a player to your guild.
  2. `@guildkick [playername]`: Kick a member from the guild.
  3. `@guildleave`: If you are a member, you can leave the guild using this command.
  4. `@g`: Send a message to all guild members.

How to Break the Emperium (War of Emperium)

During War of Emperium (WoE), guilds fight to take control of castles by breaking the Emperium located in the castle's Emperium Room. Here's how it works:

  1. Only guilds can break the Emperium, and the guild that successfully breaks it gains control of the castle.
  2. To break the Emperium, guild members must attack it. It has a high amount of health, so make sure you have strong damage dealers in your guild.
  3. Once your guild captures the castle, you can defend it from other guilds by setting up strategies with your members.

Managing Your Guild

As a Guild Master, you have several responsibilities:

  1. Guild Skills: Guilds can earn skill points, which the Guild Master can use to unlock guild skills that benefit all members. Some examples include increasing guild member capacity and bonuses for guild members.
  2. Guild Tax: You can set a guild tax to gain experience for your guild. A percentage of your members' experience will go towards leveling up the guild, unlocking more guild skills.
  3. Guild Emblem: Personalize your guild with an emblem. The image file must be 24×24 pixels and saved as a BMP file in the Emblem folder of your game directory.

Disbanding a Guild

If you ever want to disband your guild:

  1. Use the command `@breakguild [Guild Name]` as the Guild Master.
  2. Before disbanding, all members must leave the guild, or you must kick them.
  3. Once disbanded, all guild data will be erased, and the guild will no longer exist.
