Shadow Equipment Refining Guide

Welcome to the Shadow Equipment Refining guide! In this guide, you will learn how to refine your shadow equipment using the Shadow Blacksmith in-game.

You can find the Shadow Blacksmith in the following location:

• Item Mall (31, 76)

To refine your shadow equipment, follow these steps:

1. Talk to the Shadow Blacksmith.
2. You will be presented with a list of shadow equipment that you currently have equipped.
3. You can choose from three types of ores to refine your item:
   • Normal Ore
   • Enriched Ore
   • HD Ore (Only for items with a refine level of +7 or higher)

Each refine attempt costs 200,000 Zeny and the corresponding ore.

Refining shadow equipment provides the following bonuses:

• Weapons: ATK and MATK + 1 per refine level.
• Armor, Shoes, Accessories: HP + 10 per refine level.

• Shadow equipment can be refined up to +10.
• HD Ores can be used starting from +7 and prevent item destruction during the refine process.
• If a normal or enriched refine fails, the item may be destroyed or lose a refine level.

• The safety refine level is +4. Refining beyond this level risks destruction if the attempt fails (except when using HD ores).
• The blacksmith will notify you if an item cannot be refined further or if you do not have enough Zeny or materials.

1. **Shadow Blacksmith**: "Do you want to refine a shadow item? Pick yer poison!"
2. After selecting your item, choose the type of ore to use for refinement.
3. If successful, the blacksmith will say: "It worked! It worked!"
4. If the refinement fails, the blacksmith will say: "Oh Odin No!"

• Each refinement costs 200,000 Zeny.
• You need the required materials: Oridecon, Elunium, Enriched Ores, or HD Ores.
