PvP NPCs Guide

This guide provides details about the various PvP modes and NPCs available in GemstoneRO. These NPCs can be found in several major cities, and players can enter different PvP modes based on their level and preferences. The modes include Yoyo Mode, Nightmare Mode, and Event Mode.

The PVP Narrator NPC can be found in the inns of the following cities:

• Morocc: morocc_in (144,138)
• Alberta: alberta_in (22,146)
• Prontera: prt_in (56,140)
• Geffen: geffen_in (67,63)
• Payon: payon_in01 (142,50)

The PVP Narrator explains the following:

• What is PvP?

PvP stands for Player vs Player, where players can duel in dedicated PvP zones.

1. Requirements: You must be at least level 31 and pay an entrance fee of 500 zeny.
2. Process: Speak to the Gate Keeper after talking to the Narrator to enter a PvP zone.

• PvP Modes:
  1. Yoyo Mode: A practice mode where there is no risk of losing EXP or equipment upon death. Recommended for beginners to practice their skills.
  2. Nightmare Mode: A high-risk mode where players may lose EXP and drop equipment upon death. Rewards are higher, but it's much more dangerous.

• Rules for PvP:

1. PvP zones have a limited number of participants.
2. EXP is gained or lost based on performance in the PvP zone.
3. Each map has a cap on the number of players that can join. Maps show “Attendee/Total” so you can see how full a map is.

The Gate Keeper manages entry into PvP zones. You can find Gate Keeper NPCs in the following locations:

• Morocc: morocc_in (144,142)
• Alberta: alberta_in (26,146)
• Prontera: prt_in (52,140)
• Geffen: geffen_in (63,63)
• Payon: payon_in01 (140,53)

Through the Gate Keeper, you can select from the following modes:

• Yoyo Mode:
  1. Fee: 500 zeny
  2. Requirements: Minimum base level of 31
  3. Description: This mode is a safe way to experience PvP without penalties for losing.

• Nightmare Mode (Currently Unavailable)

• Event Mode:
  1. Requires an admission or viewing ticket (item ID: 7028 or 7029).

The PVP Warper function allows players to teleport to different PvP maps. Each map has its own limitations and capacity. Here is a list of available maps and their details:

• Yoyo Mode Maps:
  1. Prontera
  2. Izlude
  3. Payon
  4. Alberta
  5. Morocc

• Nightmare Mode Maps:
  1. Sandwich
  2. Lock On
  3. Four Room
  4. Under Cross
  5. Compass Room

When entering a map, players will be randomly placed within the designated PvP area. The system checks the number of participants and will block entry if the map is full.

The Event Contestant Entrance is located inside the pvp_room map at coordinates (54,85). Players who have an Invite For Duel (item ID: 7028) can use this entrance to participate in event PvP matches.

Once inside, players will be placed randomly in one of the combat squares.

For those who wish to view the PvP matches, the Spectator Entrance is available at coordinates (62,85) in pvp_room. Players need an Admission For Duel (item ID: 7029) to enter.

Spectators will be placed in designated viewing areas, depending on random selection.

Once you've finished your PvP experience, use the Combat Square Staff to exit the PvP area. You can find this NPC in the pvp_room at coordinates (51,19). Upon interacting with this NPC, you can choose to return to one of the following cities:

• Prontera
• Morocc
• Geffen
• Payon
• Alberta
