This guide explains how to use the **Card Separation System** NPCs, Jeremy and Richard, who allow players to separate cards from equipment with a chance of success.

- **Richard**: Malangdo (208, 166) – Handles weapons and shields.

===== How to Use the Card Separation System =====

1. **Talk to Jeremy or Richard**:
   - Jeremy separates cards from **armor, shoes, garments, and headgear**.
   - Richard separates cards from **weapons and shields**.

2. **Separation Process**:
   - The card separation costs **1,000,000 Zeny**. 
   - You can use special items like **Premium Lubricant** or **Ordinary Lubricant** to reduce the chance of equipment or card destruction.

3. **Choose Equipment**:
   - The NPC will ask you to select an equipped item.
   - If no item is equipped, the NPC will notify you.

4. **Card Separation Fees**:
   - Without special items: **1,000,000 Zeny**.
   - With **Premium Lubricant**: Provides a higher success rate for separating the card.
   - With **Ordinary Lubricant**: Provides a lower success rate than Premium Lubricant but still reduces the risk of failure.

5. **Separation Results**:
   - There is a chance that either the equipment or the card may be destroyed during the process, but with Lubricants, the chance of destruction decreases.
   - If you are separating an MVP card, you will need the special item **Sillit Pong**.

6. **Important Notes**:
   - **Refine Level Loss**: During the process, you might lose the refine level of the equipment.
   - **Equipment or Card Destruction**: There is always a risk of destroying the equipment or the card, even when using special items.
