This guide explains how to use the **Advanced Refiner**, an NPC that allows players to refine their equipment using enriched ores, with higher success chances. The NPC is located in Malangdo and offers to refine armors and weapons.

===== How to Use the Advanced Refiner =====

1. **Talk to Holink**: The NPC introduces itself as a master of refining, learned from Morocc.

2. **Choose Equipment**:
    - You will be prompted to select a piece of equipment from the following options:
      - Headgear (Top, Middle, Low)
      - Armor
      - Left Hand
      - Right Hand
      - Garment
      - Shoes
      - Accessories (Left, Right)

    **Note**: Only equipped items will appear in the selection.

3. **Conditions for Refining**:
    - The item must be equipped.
    - The item should not already be refined to +10.
    - Certain items, depending on type, may not be refinable.
    
    Holink will provide amusing dialogue if certain conditions are not met (e.g., no item equipped, item cannot be refined, etc.).

4. **Refining Costs**:
    - The cost of refining depends on the type and level of the equipment:
      - **Armor**: 15,000 Zeny for Level 1 Armor.
      - **Weapons**: Costs vary depending on the weapon level:
        - Level 1 Weapon: 500 Zeny
        - Level 2 Weapon: 2,000 Zeny
        - Level 3 Weapon: 20,000 Zeny
        - Level 4 Weapon: 50,000 Zeny

5. **Ingredients**:
    - You need specific materials to refine the item. The NPC will tell you the required material and Zeny amount.
    - If you don't have the required materials or Zeny, the NPC will ask you to gather them first.

6. **Refining Success**:
    - If the refining is successful, Holink will celebrate your success with amusing dialogue.
    - If the refining fails, the item may break, and any cards or enchantments on the item will vanish.

- **Warning**: Refining past certain levels can be risky, and Holink will warn you about the possibility of breaking the item.
- **Success Rate**: Each attempt has a percentage chance of success. If the attempt fails, the item is lost.
- **Cards and Enchantments**: If the item breaks, all cards and enchantments on the item are lost.
