This page provides a guide for the various PvP NPCs and modes available in-game. The PvP system in GemstoneRO offers different challenges, including Yoyo Mode, Nightmare Mode, and Event Mode.

The PVP Narrator is here to explain the PvP modes available to players. Here’s how you can interact with the PVP Narrator:

• What is PVP?

PvP stands for Player vs Player, which allows players to duel each other in special areas. You must be at least level 31 and pay a 500 zeny entrance fee to participate.

* **What are the PVP Modes?**  
  There are two PvP modes:
  - **Yoyo Mode**: Risk-free PvP with no punishment for losing. Perfect for practice.
  - **Nightmare Mode**: A more dangerous mode where you lose EXP and risk dropping equipment if defeated. However, the rewards are higher.

* **What are the Rules for PVP?**  
  Different PVP maps have limitations on the number of participants, and there is an EXP system inside the PVP zone. You can gain or lose EXP based on your performance.

• Save Position

You can save your position at specific locations.

The Gate Keeper manages access to the PvP modes. Here’s what the Gate Keeper offers:

• PvP Nightmare Mode: Currently unavailable.
• PvP Yoyo Mode: Enter with a fee of 500 zeny. Ensure you are at least level 31.
• PvP Event Mode: Requires special tickets to participate.

This function allows players to warp to different PvP maps. You will be given a list of available maps, along with the number of participants and maximum capacity for each map. If the map is full, you’ll need to choose another.

Players who have an invite for dueling can use this entrance to join the PVP combat square. You will be randomly placed in one of the available combat areas for the match.

If you have a spectator ticket, you can use this entrance to view the PvP matches from specific points on the map.

After finishing your PvP experience, use the exit NPC to return to major cities such as Prontera, Morocc, Geffen, Payon, or Alberta.
