Classes and Jobs
In GemstoneRO, we follow the official Ragnarok Online Renewal class progression system, featuring both 3rd and 4th job classes. We aim to provide an authentic Ragnarok Online Renewal experience with no custom classes, staying as close as possible to the official game while maintaining a mid-rate server experience.
Class Progression
Players in GemstoneRO can advance through the traditional job class tree:

Job Master NPC
To make job changes easier and more accessible, we have a Job Master NPC located at the Prontera Fountain. The Job Master allows you to switch between jobs and advance to higher classes without needing to complete lengthy job change quests.

Staying True to Ragnarok Renewal

1. Novice (Base Lv. 1 / Job Lv. 1) 2. Reach Job Lv. 10 → Change to 1st Class 3. Reach Job Lv. 50 → Change to 2nd Class 4. At Base Lv. 99 / Job Lv. 50 → Rebirth 5. Repeat steps 2–3 to reach Transcendent Class 6. At Base Lv. 99 / Job Lv. 70 → Change to 3rd Class 7. At Base Lv. 200 / Job Lv. 70 → Advance to 4th Class

▶ Taekwon Path:
* Start as Taekwon (Job Lv. 10 from Novice) * Reach Job Lv. 50 → Choose Star Gladiator or Soul Linker * At Base Lv. 99 / Job Lv. 50 → Advance to Star Emperor or Soul Reaper * At Base Lv. 200 / Job Lv. 70 → Final Job Change to Sky Emperor or Soul Ascetic
▶ Ninja / Gunslinger Path:
* Start as Ninja or Gunslinger (Job Lv. 10 from Novice) * At Base Lv. 99 / Job Lv. 70 → Advance to Kagerou/Oboro or Rebellion * At Base Lv. 200 / Job Lv. 70 → Final Job Change to:
- Shinkiro (Male Ninja) / Shiranui (Female Ninja)
- Night Watch (Gunslinger path)
