====== Card Remover NPC in GemstoneRO ======

The **Card Remover NPC** allows players to safely remove cards that have been compounded onto their equipment. This service is useful if you want to reuse your cards or gear. However, there is a risk of failure, which could result in the destruction of either the cards, the item, or both.

===== How to Use the Card Remover NPC =====

1. **Location**  
   You can find the **Card Remover NPC** (Wise Old Woman) in **Prontera Inn** at coordinates **(28, 73)**.

2. **Cost of Removal**  
   To remove cards from your item, the NPC will charge:
   - A base fee of **200,000 Zeny**.
   - An additional **25,000 Zeny** for each card compounded on the item.
   - You will also need the following items:
     - **1 Star Crumb**
     - **1 Yellow Gemstone**

3. **Card Removal Process**  
   When you talk to the **Card Remover NPC**, follow these steps:
   - The NPC will ask if you want to remove cards. Select **"Yes, it does."**
   - You will then choose the item from which you want to remove the cards.
   - The NPC will display how many cards are compounded on the item and the total cost for the removal process.
   - Make sure you have the required Zeny and items before proceeding.

4. **Success or Failure**  
   - **Success**: If the card removal is successful, the cards and the item will be returned to you intact.
   - **Failure**: If the removal fails, there are three possible outcomes:
     - **Total Failure**: Both the item and the cards are destroyed.
     - **Partial Failure**: Either the cards or the item is destroyed, based on your choice during the process.
     - **Harmless Failure**: The removal fails, but both the item and the cards remain intact.

5. **Choosing What to Protect**  
   - During the process, you will be asked to choose whether you want to prioritize protecting the **cards** or the **item**:
     - **Protect the item**: If the process fails, the item will remain, but the cards may be destroyed.
     - **Protect the cards**: If the process fails, the cards will remain, but the item may be destroyed.

6. **Requirements**  
   Before attempting to remove cards, ensure that:
   - You have enough Zeny.
   - You have a **Star Crumb** and a **Yellow Gemstone** in your inventory.
   - You are not carrying too many items (check your weight limit).
