This guide covers Episode 16.1 of *The Royal Banquet* – an update that focuses on crowning the new king among the 7 royal families. Three new instances (two of which are repeatable) and two new dungeons have been added, and Prontera and its castle have received a graphical overhaul. Noblesse Equipment is also introduced; its vendor is always accessible.

*Note:* This quest builds on the corruption conspiracy introduced in the Curse of Geoborg quest. (You must have access to New_World before the Royal Errand Boy will respond.)

1. **Talk to any Royal Errand Boy** in major cities (Prontera, Geffen, Payon, Morroc, Alberta, Juno, etc.).  
   - He will invite you to the Royal Banquet in Prontera Castle and give you a [[Banquet_Invitation]].

2. **Talk with Servant Bell** at the entrance of Prontera Castle (e.g. at `prt_cas 217,150`).

3. **Enter your private room** in the west wing (e.g. `prt_cas_q 130,8`) and speak with Servant Bell. He explains that a ritual is needed to replace the deceased king.  
   - *(Tip: If you’re not sure which royal families you haven’t visited, ask Servant Bell.)*

• *Heines Family: - Go to the room just north (e.g. `prt_cas_q 130,32`) and wait for the conversation. - Speak with Kronecker G. Heine – he reveals that Peter is the candidate, which makes Nyhill jealous. - Exit the room; shortly, Nyhill and Skia begin discussing their roles. Nerius Family: - Proceed north to the next room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 130,56`) and speak with Spica Nerius. - (The Nerius family is led by women and is not interested in the throne. Erich is in the banquet hall.) Walther Family: - Walk to the furthest room in the west corridor (e.g. `prt_cas_q 130,80`) and talk to Ian Walther. - Speak again with Ian Walther; a “Mysterious Person” appears and starts a dialogue. - Then talk with Isenhonor Walther, who explains about the Guardian Knights and mentions his manor in Alberta. - *(Walther Sidequest becomes available.)* - *(Note: The Walthers do not participate in the Royal Assembly due to an “unfortunate incident” where Isenarm was killed.)* Wigner Family: - Return to the red carpet at the castle entrance (e.g. `prt_cas 215,163`) and go east. 1. Bypass the crowd outside (e.g. `prt_cas_q 153,119`) and speak with Levuiere Wigner. 2. Then speak with Jurgen Wigner in the back of the room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 95,10`); he introduces you to his siblings. - *(Wigner Sidequest is now available.)* - *(Note: The Wigner family founded Rune Midgard; Jurgen is very fashion‑conscious, and Isaac is notably “Wigner‑like.”)* Richard Family: - Travel to the second room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 153,143`). 1. Speak with the Butler for the Richards. 2. Talk with Po Richard (e.g. `prt_cas 92,74`). You may choose whether you’ve heard of the Richard warrior. 3. Speak with Po Richard again and select *[I’ll Try]* to unlock the Warrior Discipline daily quest. - *(The Richards have been training to defeat Satan Morroc.)* Geoborg Family: - Walk north to the middle room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 153,167`) in the east corridor. Two bodyguards block you until the Queen lets you pass. - Speak with Queen Catherine D. Geoborg. - *(Geoborg Sidequest is now available.)* - *(Note: Descendant of Tristan I; Ernst is the candidate.)* Roegenburg Family: - Travel to the last room in the east corridor (e.g. `prt_cas_q 153,191`). 1. Speak with Maximilian Roegenburg. 2. Talk with Wolf Roegenburg (e.g. `prt_cas_q 96,186`). You will also meet Agnes and Myer (who argue). - *(Rougenbourg Sidequest: Wolf and Isaac’s Dealings is now available.)* - *(Note: Helmut is the candidate. The blue text in the Myer/Wolf conversation may be important.)* 4. Return to your private room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 132,8`) and speak with Servant Bell (e.g. `prt_cas_q 26,30`) to receive 10 Honor_Token plus 300,000 Base EXP and 300,000 Job EXP. 5. Proceed to the Banquet Hall at the end of the red carpet (e.g. `prt_cas 216,183`). Outside Nyhill’s room you’ll overhear a conversation between the Chamberlain and a Mysterious Guest. 6. Once inside the Banquet Hall, walk to the foot of the stairs on the right and speak with Skia Nerius or Spica Nerius (e.g. `prt_cas 104,240`). - (Complicated royal matters are discussed as Violeta appears. Nyhill becomes mysteriously drunk from very light champagne and returns to his room—follow him.) 7. Outside Nyhill’s room (e.g. `prt_cas 182,161`), the previously seen Mysterious Guest appears and starts a dialogue. - You learn that Nyhill was drugged; then Skia appears and enters the room. 8. Enter Nyhill’s room and walk near the entrance until Skia and Nyhill appear (e.g. `prt_cas 27,38`). Speak with them to listen to their conversation. 9. Return to your private room (e.g. `prt_cas 152,163`) and speak with Servant Bell (e.g. `prt_cas_q 26,30`). - Court Mage Nillem then appears and transports you to the Royal Memory map. 10. In Royal Memory, go north of the room and speak with Mage Nillem (e.g. `prt_lib 90,84`). 11. Create a party of one (just yourself), then speak with Mage Nillem again to create the instance. 12. Finally, speak with the Room of Consciousness teleporter to enter. *Note: This instance is solo-only.* ==== Ritual of Blessing Instance ==== 1. At the instance spawn, speak with Skia or Nyhill. They instruct you to sit next to Po Richard and behind Ernst Geoborg. 2. Walk to the empty spot at (106,77) to initiate the ceremony. 3. An intruder enters, attacks Peter, and demands the Ymir’s Heart – spawning 3 very weak monsters. - *Nyhill (on the left) will heal you for 9999 and, if you approach him, will give you Kyrie_Eleison.* 4. Once the monsters are defeated, speak with Kronecker Heine at the altar. Wait until the NPCs disappear, then speak with Mage Nillem. 3. Speak with Lindt the Librarian (e.g. `prt_lib 76,80`) and notice the magical blank pages in the book. 4. Talk with Mage Nillem again as he discovers magic similar to the Dimensional Crack. 5. You are instructed to speak with Guardian Knight (e.g. `prt_lib 56,61`) to exit, per Nillem. 6. After being transported to the prison, speak with Overwatcher Terketh to be released. 7. Return to your private room (e.g. `prt_cas 152,163`) and speak with Servant Bell (e.g. `prt_cas_q 26,30`) to receive a message and learn that the Nerius family wishes to see you. 8. Go north to the third room in the west corridor (e.g. `prt_cas_q 132,56`) and speak with Spica Nerius (disguised as Skia). - *(Ensure she is alone in the room before speaking.)* 9. Immediately enter the adjacent room to the south (the Heines’ room, e.g. `prt_cas_q 130,32`) and speak with Kronecker G. Heine. - He gives you 20 Honor_Token plus 400,000 Base EXP and 400,000 Job EXP and instructs you to work with Mage Nillem. - You also gain access to the Request from Chief Guard repeatable quest. 10. Inside Royal Memory, speak with Mage Nillem (e.g. `prt_lib 91,85`); a Dimensional Warper appears. 3. Use the Dimension Warper to travel back to the Old Memoir of the Royal Family. 4. Speak with Nillem (e.g. `prt_lib_q 91,85`) to reserve the instance, then with Swaying Space to start it. 5. Talk with Fenrir (at 1@mir 103,40) at the entrance. 6. Walk to the altar and speak with Iris (at 1@mir 100,94). A Ymir Heart piece is found as several weak skeletons appear (approximately 12k HP). - Two waves of Enhanced Skeletons appear. 7. Once the waves are over, speak with Iris (at 1@mir 103,85). 8. This spawns a non‑boss monster (Renovated_Amdarais). Using abilities such as Turn_Undead, Resurrection, or a (Yggdrasil_Leaf) may help. 9. Speak with Iris again once the monster is defeated; then Bijou attacks in two phases (first a weak version, then her full boss form). - *Note: You can lure monsters toward Iris and Fenrir, which will deal 1.5M–2M damage (not affected by Lex_Aeterna).* 10. Once Bijou is defeated, speak with Iris (at 1@mir 100,95) to exit the instance. ==== Strategy for Weak Players ==== *Note: Having a pet (such as a Poring or Homunculus for Geneticists) is recommended.* 1. When fighting Renovated Amdarais and Bijou, after your first hit the NPCs Iris and Fenrir may appear in the center. 2. Lure the monster to the edge of the instance. 3. With your pet following you, walk near Iris and Fenrir to trigger a map‑wide attack that deals 1,500,000–2,000,000 damage (this attack is not reduced by Lex_Aeterna). - *(There is a chance that the attack may not trigger.)* 4. Repeat the process until an announcement indicates the monster is nearly defeated. - (Renovated Amdarais does not announce its HP, so keep hitting it.) 5. Finally, attack when the monster’s HP is around 10 to secure the kill. - *(Renovated Amdarais might even be one‑shot with a Yggdrasil Leaf, though this is unconfirmed.)* ==== The Truth ==== 1. Outside the instance, speak with Nilem and then exit the Old Memoir room via the west hall. You will be warped to Destroyed Prontera. - In Destroyed Prontera, find the Fortress Entry Warp Portal (in front of the old Swordsman Guild at the bottom‑right of the map). (A minimum level of 145 is required.) This portal leads to the Sky_Fortress instance. - *If you pick up a worn belt from monsters, give it to the Cathedral Knight at Prontera Church to receive a 9999‑heal.* 2. Speak with Nilem (e.g. `prt_q 157,334`) and choose *Let’s get out of here!*. 3. Walk along the red carpet until Kronecker G. Heine appears (e.g. `prt_lib 87,81`). 4. Speak with Kronecker G. Heine to receive 30 Honor_Token plus 800,000 Base EXP and 800,000 Job EXP. - You also gain access to the Room_of_Consciousness repeatable quest. 5. Speak with Scarlet Jaha again; she asks you to find Prince Ernst. 5. Follow these steps in order: a. One cell north of Vicente (e.g. `prt_cas 77,258`). *Rumor: Tristan III’s bones were found.* b. Between Lin and Ekinasia near a tea‑drinking Banquet Hall Guest (e.g. `prt_cas 87,235`). *Rumor: The prince was poisoned.* c. One cell south between Spica Nerius and Crux Findel (e.g. `prt_cas 109,240`). d. One cell south, then east of Sophia at the Isaac Wigner huddle (e.g. `prt_cas 108,221`). *Rumor: He’s been hanging out with a punk for too long.* e. Near Catherine Wigner on the red carpet (e.g. `prt_cas 90,221`). *Rumor: The Queen is absent while running the show.* f. Close to the Amatsu guests in the southwest corner (e.g. `prt_cas 78,220`). g. Enter Royal Prontera Prison via the Banquet Hall room. Bigfoot is in the second jail cell (e.g. `prt_pri00 55,119`). - He requires 1 Green Salad and 3 Spicy Fried Bao (obtained from the Sarah's_Memory instance or via Cooking – daily login items do not count). 6. Return to Bigfoot, who tells you about a Walther family member spotted in Veins and his pickpocketing skills. 7. Locate K (Kain Walther Walker, e.g. `veins 156,160`). He explains the death of Isenarm by Isenhonor and gives you a . 8. Return to the Walthers’ room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 132,79`). 9. Speak with Isaac Wigner (e.g. `prt_cas_q 93,7`). He gives you a Sample_of_New_Business_Item and mentions a rumor in Prontera. 4. Return to the Roegenburg room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 151,191`). 5. Give the item to Wolf Roegenburg (e.g. `prt_cas_q 96,186`). He informs you that the box is password‑protected (password: 1618). 6. Once you unlock it, pass along the message; then investigate by speaking with the three Kiddos (e.g. `prontera 267,69`) in southeast Prontera. 7. The Kiddos demand compensation: - Hunt 33 Majoruros, 12 Soft Silk, and borrow a book from the royal library. 8. Go to the castle library via the portal in the southeast corner of the Banquet Hall (e.g. `prt_cas 127,217`) and speak with Uptight Librarian (e.g. `prt_cas 343,66`). - Answer the following questions: * What kind of banquet? – *In memory of defeating Morroc.* * How many Royal Families attended? – *7 Royal Families.* * Who did not attend the Royal Assembly? – *Geoborg and Walther.* * Which family is cursed? – *Geoborg.* - She gives you the Rune-Midgartz_History_Book. 9. Return to the Kiddos (e.g. `prontera 267,69`) and listen to the rumor: - The Roegenburg family suffered a mysterious death/murder of four children. * If Helmut becomes king, war will break out. * Helmut will invade the country where his parents were killed to unify the continent. * The second son is funding the war with his business. 10. Return to the castle’s Roegenburg room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 151,191`) and speak with Wolf Roegenburg (e.g. `prt_cas_q 96,186`). Give him a softened version of the story. - Myer Roegenburg admits he started the rumor due to differing agendas. - The family argues; Wolf then gives you a Top_Secret_Document for Isaac Wigner. 11. In the Wigner room (e.g. `prt_cas_q 151,119`), Isaac Wigner (e.g. `prt_cas_q 94,7`) reads the document aloud; Wolf then decides to shift his business away from war. 12. Return to Wolf; he asks you to deliver a message to Myer. 13. Ask the Kiddos where Myer is; meet him and deliver the message. 14. Tell Maximilian Roegenburg that Myer will visit after the banquet. She asks you to fetch jewels and feathers. - Obtain 3 Pearl and 50 Feather from, for example, the Comodo field or the Byalan dungeon (from Medusa, Strouf, etc.). 3. Exit the room and head west to the red carpet, then north through the portal, and finally northwest of the Banquet Hall to reach the Kitchen. 4. In the Kitchen, speak with the Maid (e.g. `prt_cas 322,216`) at the back of the room. - She becomes defensive. - Help her clean the kitchen and she may recall if someone else was present. - She gives you 3 Poring_Loofah. - Clean the mold on the walls, then the grease, and finally the floor. 5. Walk to the top‑right corner (or click the Dark and Damp Wall at e.g. `prt_cas 336,212`) which indicates you need 1 Holy Water and 1 Mould Powder. 6. After cleaning, proceed to the cooking pots (e.g. `prt_cas 336,197`) where a second sponge appears. - Bring 1 Orange and 1 Alcohol to the Sticky Wall on the top cooking pot. - (It may take several attempts.) 7. Walk in front of the large fireplace (e.g. `prt_cas 309,214`) to the left of the Maid. - The final sponge requires 1 Lemon and 1 Fine Sand. - Click on the Pitch‑black Floor (located under the barrel). - (Try several times if needed.) 8. Return to the Maid (e.g. `prt_cas 322,216`); she hints that the furniture delivery person might be responsible. 9. Find the Furniture Deliveryman (e.g. `prontera 68,68`) in the southwest corner of Prontera. - He becomes defensive and, after a long day moving furniture, requests 3 Beef Head. - After you give them to him, he mentions that the Guard Gate checked him upon leaving the castle. 10. Return to Jurgen Wigner (e.g. `prt_cas_q 95,9`) in the castle and discuss how people perceive Katrin. - (Katrin becomes upset with Jurgen.) - It is revealed that Isaac actually took the box. - Isaac and Jurgen then decide that Katrin should receive 1 Witherless Rose and 10 Sea Stone. - *Note: Sea Stones from Medusa may automatically appear in your inventory on occasion.* 11. In the Kitchen, speak with the Royal Head Chef (e.g. `prt_cas 308,200`). She asks you to retrieve sauce from the Royal Sauce Master (in the same room). 4. Gather the ingredients until the sauce is complete. 6. Deliver the sauce to the Royal Head Chef (e.g. `prt_cas 308,200`) to prepare the Griffon Barbeque. 7. Prepare the dish at the designated empty spot (e.g. `prt_cas 314,199`) between the chefs. - Once complete, serve the dish in the Dining Room. 8.
