This guide covers the Episode 16.1 update, where the focus is on who will be crowned the new king among the 7 royal families. In this update, three new instances (two of which are repeatable) and two new dungeons have been added, and both the city of Prontera and its castle received a major graphical overhaul. Noblesse Equipment is also introduced – the selling NPC is accessible at any time.

• Note: This quest continues the corruption conspiracy from the Curse of Geoborg quest. You must have access to New_World before the Royal Errand Boy will respond.*

1. **Talk to any Royal Errand Boy** found in major cities (Prontera, Geffen, Payon, Morroc, Alberta, Juno, etc.).
   - He will invite you to the Royal Banquet in Prontera Castle.
   - He gives you a [[Banquet_Invitation]].

2. **Talk with Servant Bell** at the entrance of Prontera Castle (coordinates: `prt_cas 217,150`).

3. **Enter your private room** in the west wing (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 130,8`) and speak with Servant Bell. He explains that a ritual is needed to replace the sudden death of the previous king.
   - *(Tip: If you’re unsure which families you still need to visit, ask Servant Bell.)*
   
   1. **Heines Family:**
      - Go to the room just north (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 130,32`) and wait for the conversation.

      - Speak to **Kronecker G. Heine** to learn that Peter is the Heine candidate – making Nyhill jealous.
      - Exit the room; shortly, Nyhill and Skia will begin discussing how they might “shadow” Peter.

   2. **Nerius Family:**
      - Proceed north to the next room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 130,56`) and talk to **Spica Nerius**.

      - Note that the Nerius family—led by women—is not interested in the throne. (Erich, the candidate, is in the banquet hall.)
   3. **Walther Family:**
      - Walk to the furthest room in the west corridor (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 130,80`) and speak with **Ian Walther**.

      - Then, speak with Ian Walther again; a “Mysterious Person” appears and begins a dialogue.
      - Next, talk to **Isenhonor Walther** who explains about the Guardian Knights and mentions that his manor is in Alberta.

      - *(The Walthers do not participate in the Royal Assembly because of the “unfortunate incident” in which Isenarm was killed.)*
   4. **Wigner Family:**
      - Return to the red carpet at the castle entrance (coordinates: `prt_cas 215,163`) and go east.
        
        1. Bypass the crowd outside the room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 153,119`) and talk to **Levuiere Wigner**.

        2. Then speak with **Jurgen Wigner** (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 95,10`) in the back of the room; he introduces you to his siblings.

   5. **Richard Family:**
      - Head to the second room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 153,143`).
        
        1. Speak with the **Butler for the Richards**.

        2. Talk to **Po Richard** (coordinates: `prt_cas 92,74`). You may choose whether or not you’ve heard of the Richard warrior.

        3. Talk to Po Richard again and select *[I’ll Try]* if you wish to unlock the [[Royal_Banquet_Daily_Quests#Warrior_Discipline|Warrior Discipline]] daily quest.
           - (The Richards have been training to take down Satan Morroc.)
   6. **Geoborg Family:**
      - Walk north to the middle room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 153,167`) in the east corridor. Two bodyguards block your way until the Queen allows you to pass.

      - Speak to **Queen Catherine D. Geoborg**.

   7. **Roegenburg Family:**
      - Proceed to the last room in the east corridor (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 153,191`).
        
        1. Talk to **Maximilian Roegenburg**.

        2. Speak to **Wolf Roegenburg** (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 96,186`) where you’ll also be introduced to Agnes and Myer; note that Myer and Wolf argue.

4. **Return to your private room** (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 132,8`) and speak with **Servant Bell** (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 26,30`) to receive 10 [[Honor_Token]] plus 300,000 Base EXP and 300,000 Job EXP.
5. **Proceed to the Banquet Hall** at the end of the red carpet (coordinates: `prt_cas 216,183`). Outside Nyhill’s room you will overhear a conversation between the Chamberlain and a Mysterious Guest.
6. Once inside the Banquet Hall, walk to the foot of the stairs on the right and speak with **Skia Nerius** or **Spica Nerius** (coordinates: `prt_cas 104,240`).

   - Complicated royal matters are discussed as Violeta appears.
   - Nyhill becomes mysteriously drunk (from very light champagne) and returns to his room – follow him.
7. Outside Nyhill’s room (coordinates: `prt_cas 182,161`), the previously seen Mysterious Guest appears and starts a dialogue.
   - You learn that Nyhill was drugged and then Skia appears and enters the room.
8. **Enter Nyhill’s room** and walk near the entrance until Skia and Nyhill appear (coordinates: `prt_cas 27,38`). Speak with them to listen to their conversation.

9. **Return to your private room** (coordinates: `prt_cas 152,163`) and speak with **Servant Bell** (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 26,30`).
   - **Court Mage Nillem** will then appear and transport you to the Royal Memory map.
10. After arriving, go north of the room and speak with **Mage Nillem** (coordinates: `prt_lib 90,84`).

11. Create a party of just yourself, then speak with Mage Nillem again to create the instance.
12. Finally, talk to the **Room of Consciousness** teleporter to enter.

1. Speak with Skia or Nyhill at the spawn point; they instruct you to sit next to Po Richard and behind Ernst Geoborg.

2. Walk to the empty spot at (106,77) to initiate the ceremony.
3. An intruder enters, attacks Peter, and demands the Ymir’s Heart – spawning 3 very weak monsters.
   - *Nyhill (on the left) will heal you for 9999 and, if you approach him, will give you [[Kyrie_Eleison]].*
4. Once all enemies are defeated, speak to **Kronecker Heine** at the altar. He will send all the families away (if you haven’t already spoken to them). Then, head south to exit the instance.

1. Outside the instance, speak to **Ian Walther**.

   - He suspects your involvement (Tera Gloria and the Star of Blessing were stolen).
   - Nyhill eventually confesses that he told someone about the ritual while he was drunk.
2. Wait until they disappear, then speak with **Mage Nillem**.

3. Talk to **Lindt the Librarian** (coordinates: `prt_lib 76,80`) and notice the magical blank pages in the book.

4. Speak with Mage Nillem again as he discovers magic reminiscent of the Dimensional Crack.
5. You’re then told to speak with **Guardian Knight** (coordinates: `prt_lib 56,61`) to exit, per Nillem.

6. After being transported to the prison, talk with **Overwatcher Terketh** to be let out.

7. Return to your private room (coordinates: `prt_cas 152,163`) and speak with **Servant Bell** (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 26,30`) to receive a message—and note that the Nerius family would like you to visit them.
8. Go north to the third room in the west corridor (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 132,56`) and speak with **Spica Nerius** (who is actually Skia in disguise).
   - *You can only speak to her when she is the only NPC in the room; otherwise, wait for the others to leave.*

9. Immediately enter the next room to the south (the Heines’ room; coordinates: `prt_cas_q 130,32`) and speak with **Kronecker G. Heine**.

   - He gives you 20 [[Honor_Token]] plus 400,000 Base EXP and 400,000 Job EXP and tells you to work with Mage Nillem.
   - You also gain access to the [[Royal_Banquet_Daily_Quests#Request_from_Chief_Guard|Request from Chief Guard]] repeatable quest.
   - **This is the end of Episode 16.1: The Royal Banquet Main Quest. You may now proceed to Episode 16.2: [[Terra_Gloria]] Main Quest.**

Talk to Fenrir (at 1@mir 103,40) at the entrance. 6. Walk up to the altar and speak with Iris (at 1@mir 100,94). They find a Ymir Heart piece as several mildly weak skeletons appear (approx. 12k HP). - There are two waves of Enhanced Skeletons. 7. When the waves are finished, speak with Iris (at 1@mir 103,85). 8. This will spawn a Renovated_Amdarais (a non‑boss enemy). (Abilities like Turn_Undead, Resurrection, and even using a may help kill it.) 9. Speak with Iris again after the monster is defeated; then Bijou will attack you in two stages (first a weak version, then her normal boss form). - *Note: You can lure the monsters toward Iris and Fenrir; they will deal part of the damage (about 1.5M–2M), though this damage is not affected by Lex_Aeterna.* 10. Once Bijou is defeated, speak with Iris (at 1@mir 100,95) to exit the instance. ===== Strategy for Weak Players ===== - Note: It is recommended that you have a pet (for example, a Poring or a Homunculus for Geneticists) to help make this instance easier. 1. During fights with Renovated Amdarais and Bijou, once you’ve hit the monster at least once, NPCs Iris and Fenrir may appear at the center. 2. Lure the monster to the edge of the instance. 3. With your pet following, walk near Iris and Fenrir to trigger a map‑wide attack that deals 1,500,000–2,000,000 damage (this damage is not reduced by Lex_Aeterna). - *(There is a chance the attack may fail to trigger.)* 4. Repeat the process until an announcement indicates that the monster is almost out of HP. - (Renovated Amdarais does not announce, so hit it every so often.) 5. Finally, attack when the monster’s HP is down to around 10 to secure the kill. - *(Renovated Amdarais might even be one‑shot by a Yggdrasil Leaf – though this is not confirmed.)* ===== The Truth ===== 1. Outside the instance, speak with Nilem and then exit the Old Memoir room by heading down the west hall. You will be warped to Destroyed Prontera. - In Destroyed Prontera, find the Fortress Entry Warp Portal (located in front of the old Swordsman Guild at the bottom‑right of the map). (A minimum level of 145 is required to enter.) This portal leads to the Sky_Fortress instance. - If you defeat monsters and pick up a worn belt, you can hand it to the Cathedral Knight at the Prontera Church for a 9999‑heal. 2. Talk to Nilem (coordinates: `prt_q 157,334`) and choose *Let’s get out of here!*. 3. Walk up the red carpet until Kronecker G. Heine appears (coordinates: `prt_lib 87,81`). 4. Speak with Kronecker G. Heine to receive 30 Honor_Token plus 800,000 Base EXP and 800,000 Job EXP. - You will also gain access to the Room_of_Consciousness repeatable quest. 5. Between Lin and Ekinasia and near a tea‑drinking Banquet Hall Guest (coordinates: `prt_cas 87,235`). *Rumor: Whispers suggest the prince was poisoned.* 3. One cell south and between Spica Nerius and Crux Findel (coordinates: `prt_cas 109,240`). 4. One cell south, then east of Sophia at the Isaac Wigner huddle (coordinates: `prt_cas 108,221`). *Rumor: He’s been hanging out with a punk for too long.* 5. Near Catherine Wigner on the red carpet (coordinates: `prt_cas 90,221`). *Talk of the Queen running the show, but being a no‑show.* 6. Close to the Amatsu guests in the southwest corner of the hall (coordinates: `prt_cas 78,220`). 7. Three cells east and two cells south of the tea‑drinking, green‑jacketed Banquet Hall Guest (coordinates: `prt_cas 90,229`). *Gossip: The Geoborg family is said to be cursed.* 6. Enter Royal Prontera Prison via the Banquet Hall room. Bigfoot is located in the second jail cell (coordinates: `prt_pri00 55,119`). - He requires 1 Green Salad and 3 Spicy Fried Bao (these must be obtained from either the Sarah's_Memory instance or via Cooking – daily login items do not count). 6. Return to Bigfoot, who then tells you about a Walther family member he spotted in Veins and about his developing pickpocket skills. 7. Locate K (Kain Walther Walker, coordinates: `veins 156,160`). He explains the death of Isenarm by Isenhonor and his connection, and gives you a . 8. Return to the Walthers’ room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 132,79`). 9. He gives you a Sample_of_New_Business_Item and mentions a rumor circulating in Prontera. 4. Return to the Roegenburg room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 151,191`). 5. Give the business item to Wolf Roegenburg (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 96,186`). He informs you that the box is password‑protected (the password is 1618). 6. Once you unlock the box, pass along the message about the rumors in Prontera. You’ll then be asked to investigate by asking some young children in Prontera. 7. Talk to the three Kiddos (coordinates: `prontera 267,69`) in southeastern Prontera. 8. They demand compensation: - Hunt 33 Majoruros, 12 Soft Silk, and also borrow a book from the royal library. 9. Head to the castle library via the portal in the southeast corner of the Banquet Hall (coordinates: `prt_cas 127,217`) and speak with Uptight Librarian (coordinates: `prt_cas 343,66`). - Answer the following questions about the banquet: * What kind of banquet? – *In memory of defeating Morroc.* * How many Royal Families attended? – *7 Royal Families.* * Who did not attend the Royal Assembly? – *Geoborg and Walther.* * Which family is cursed? – *Geoborg.* - She gives you the Rune-Midgartz_History_Book. 10. Return to the Kiddos (coordinates: `prontera 267,69`) and listen to the rumor: - The Roegenburg family experienced a mysterious death/murder of four children. - *If Helmut Roegenburg becomes king, a war will break out.* - *Helmut will invade the country where his parents were killed to try to unify the continent.* - *The second son is using his business to fund the war.* 11. Return to the castle’s Roegenburg room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 151,191`) and speak with Wolf Roegenburg (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 96,186`). Relate a softened version of the story. - Myer Roegenburg admits he started the rumor because everyone had different agendas. - The family argues; then Wolf gives you a Top_Secret_Document to pass on to Isaac Wigner. 12. In the Wigner room (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 151,119`), Isaac Wigner (coordinates: `prt_cas_q 94,7`) reads the document aloud – after which Wolf decides to shift his business away from war. 13. Return to Wolf and he then asks you to deliver a message to Myer. 14. Ask the Kiddos where to find Myer; meet him and deliver the message. 15. Tell Maximilian Roegenburg that Myer will visit after the banquet. In the kitchen, speak with the Maid (coordinates: `prt_cas 322,216`) located at the back of the room. - She becomes defensive. - Help her clean the kitchen and she may recall if someone else was present. - She gives you 3 Poring_Loofah. - Clean the mold on the walls, then the grease, and finally the floor. 5. Walk up to the top‑right corner of the room (or click the Dark and Damp Wall at `prt_cas 336,212` near the basket of bread). - It will indicate that you also need 1 Holy_Water and 1 Mould_Powder. 6. After cleaning, proceed down to the cooking pots (coordinates: `prt_cas 336,197`) where the second sponge will appear. - Bring 1 Orange and 1 Alcohol to the Sticky Wall on the top cooking pot. - (It may take a few tries to remove the sponge.) 7.
